The other morning I took Wilson out to go to the bathroom. I had noticed he was sniffing around in the bushes but didn't really think too much of it. I called him to come and started walking up the stairs. I heard some russling in the bushes and thought oh crap, he found a cat. I walked back down the stairs only to find Wilson with a baby bird in his mouth(he was holding it by its wing) and wagging his tail. He was SO proud of himself. I yelled at him to drop the bird and he immediately did and came over to me wondering what the next task was. I ran upstairs, grabbed a towel and came back down to help this poor little bird. He looked pretty mangeled and his tail was completely gone. I think he was probably attacked before Wilson got to him. I took him upstairs and put him in a box and called animal services. The lady on the phone asked me what kind of bird it was. I had absolutely no clue so I guessed a Dove. She sent someone out to come get the bird. When the man arrived, he asked again what kind of bird I thought it was. I told him I thought it was a dove and he started laughing at me. He said it was a baby hawk and that they are very endangered around Salt Lake. He was surprised that it never tried to bite me. I couldn't believe my goofy little bird dog caught a hawk...even though it was already down and he didnt have to do much, but we won't tell Wilson that, we will let him think he got the take down. That was my fun morning, and it all happened before work. Gotta love it!

U2 360 Tour 2011
Last year, U2 was scheduled to have a stop in SLC for their 360 tour. It was cancelled due to Bono's back injury. There were alot of people in my office that were so bummed. They had bought a ton of tickets and were saying that if you could only go to one concert in your whole life, this would be it.
Well, they rescheduled their stop and came a couple of weeks ago and lucky for me, my boss let me tag along :)
I have to say, this was thee most amazing experience. Even if you don't like U2, the production was INCREDIBLE! All of their venues for this tour are outdoors and they sell out the whole venue, not just infront of the stage(hence the 360). They have these bridges on the stage that move so that Bono and the others can view everyone in the crowd. I don't think there is any way that I can describe this to bring it justice. It was simply amazing! So grateful that I had that experience! Thank you Ryan!!!

It's been a while..
Wow it's been a while since I have been on this thing! My mom keeps giving me grief for not blogging so I figured I might as well. The problem is, I don't really do much. I am always working. So hopefully with summer right around the corner I will have more to blog!
I have almost lived in Utah for 2 years now, and in those two years I have NEVER been camping. Its pathetic. Utah is the land of camping and I have not been once. I don't know if you guys ever met Mark, but he is a camper. I'm pretty positive that his calling in life was to be a wilderness man. He absolutely loves it and during the summer he literally goes camping every weekend. He decided that it was crazy that I hadn't gone. So last night we all loaded up in the truck (including Mr. Wilson) and we went camping.
Now I've been camping before, our family used to do it all the time! But I have NEVER been camping like this. We quite literally drove up into the mountains and just found a place that looked good. No campground, No parking spot numbers, and no bathrooms....awesome.
We found a pretty good grassy spot right out by a river and decided to set up camp. We get out and Mark takes out this handy little shovel..I had no idea what the heck he was doing. It was dark and cold and I just wanted to set up the tent. He started digging a hole in the ground and I soon found out he was making a fire pit. I kinda started feeling like the "roughing it" camping I had done in the past was going to be luxury camping compared to this! I learned how to make a fire with no fire pit, no matches, fire starters, or wood. I felt like I was in Girl Scouts again.
After we got the fire started, we started pitching tents...try doing that in the dark...with one flash light...ya.
This morning was gorgeous. We woke up to mountains all around us and the gorgeous river. Wilson was seriously in heaven. He jumped right into the river. I couldn't believe it! It was so fun!
After we had taken everything down, Mark took me out to breakfast and we had a great time! Hopefully there are more camping trips to come this summer!

bye bye home away from home...
The move time has finally come and Provo Craft is packin' up and moving. On Friday we had our last day in the office and had to pack up everything. Everyone was only allowed two boxes to bring to the new office. It was hard saying goodbye to that place. I have pretty much lived there for the pst 8 months. Some people have been there for over 4 years. It was sad saying bye, but Monday brings a new home away from home and new adventures. Here's to change!
Californication..
I went home for Memorial Day and took my friend Jamie from work and her daughter Lexie. Lexie had never been on a trip so it was fun to take her and let me tell you, she was thee best 4 year old I have ever taken a road trip with. It was great. We got there friday night, went to the beach Saturday, my sister got blessed on sunday and then we went to the strawberry festival and then had a little bbq, then we left monday. It was a much needed vacation and I was glad Jamie and Lex got to come.

Dear Best Friend...
Happy Mother's Day.
I know it is late in the day and you probably think I have forgotten about you but I haven't. The truth is I have just been putting this off all day long because I haven't wanted to cry...puffy eyes aren't attractive. So now that the day is done and I am off to bed, I figured it would be a good time to let you know just how much I love you.
You are my best friend and always have been. I know you have told me over and over again how you are here to be my mom, not my friend, but I never believed that for a second. You were there for me through the ups and downs, laughs and tears, boyfriends and heart breaks. You were never afraid to tell me when I looked like a bum, chose horrible friends, or when I was just plain being stupid. You held my hand through new experiences but weren't afraid to give me the push when I needed it. You were and are everything a best friend should be.
Now that I'm "grown up" (getting older is mandatory but growing up is optional) and I am out of the house I have realized just how much of a presence you are in my life. (Crap here come the tears.) I miss you more and more every day but am reminded of you in every little thing I do. Everything in my daily routine is inspired by you. From the motivation to wake up at the butt crack of dawn and go to work, to driving my car (even though i know it frustrated you more than anything trying to teach me) to my work ethic that has gotten me farther in the corporate environment than I ever thought possible for myself, I owe it all to you (Dad you too but this is a mother's day post...you will get your glory next month.)
Thank you for all you have done. Thank you for answering the phone and listening to me vent even when the time isn't convenient. Thank you for always being there. I love you so much and I hope you had an amazing Mother's Day. It was hard for me not to be there. You deserve the world and I am so proud to be your daughter.
Love you!

yayyy
There are so many new things in my life that I have to say YAY to!
First off, I have a new little sister!!!!!!!!!! That's like thee best thing ever! She is so precious! I just love her so much!!! Little Evyn Rose. Can't wait to go home for Easter and spend some more time with her.
Next, I GOT MY COMPUTER WORKING!!!!!!! wooooo!!! I will finally be back in the blogging world (provided there is something to blog about).
Lastly, I am still working with Provo Craft and loving every second of it. We are moving to a new BEAUTIFUL office and I can't even wait.
Ryan and I went home this weekend to see the baby and had a great time! It was so nice to see my family and I am so glad that he got to spend some time with us. He got to go see some of his old work friends up in Irvine on Saturday night and while it was a fast trip, it was a great one. Ryan decided to stop at the Calico Ghost Town on our way home and I tried warning him that it was a little left of fun, but being a man, he had to find out for himself. Needless to say we were there for maybe 15 minutes. Haha. It was all worth it to him though, we found mud on the way out and since he was in a 4x4 rental truck, he HAD to have some fun. At first I told him to stop, but he said "HONEY, I'M A MAN, I DESERVE TO FEEL LIKE KEN BLOCK ATLEAST ONCE IN MY LIFE" haha I couldn't resist I had to let him have fun for that moment and I have to say, he definitely knows how to have fun.
So, after getting the truck muddy and letting Ryan have his boy moment we continued on to "home".
It was a great trip and thank you so much Ryan for all you did to make sure I got home to my family. I love you :]
Have a great night everyone!

I'm ALIVE!
Dear family and friends,
I AM ALIVE. I'm sorry that I have completely neglected my blog and facebook for those of you that are facebook friends. But the truth of the matter is that it isn't my choice. This last month has been a little on the crazy side. It's almost like everything I touch breaks! In one day my laptop, ipod, and phone all broke. I got a new phone, my awesome dad sent me his ipod, but I am still lacking a lap top and am currently in the process of saving up to buy a new one. The problem with that is I have bills up the wall! Between the dentist and the doctors I have zero money for anything else. RUDE! Anyways, I've been stealing roomates' computers and sneaking onto Ryan's when I have the chance, so be patient with me. I promise I'm not doing it on purpose.
There really isn't anything exciting happening in my life. Just the same ol' same ol'. I work from 9-5 everyday then spend the rest of the day with Ryan. My weekend have been consisting of BYU Men's Volleyball games. Those are really fun because Ryan and I get to see Davis and the kids. Its really fun.
That's about it. Just workin my tail off and getting ready for next semester...JOY!
Love you all!

Dreams DO come true!
I don't know if you have heard but....
I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and its my dream job and im so excited!!!! When I moved to Utah, aside from school, my motive was to get a job at a scrapbook vendor. I had a job that I was looking into but it ended up going out of business. So lately I've been jobless and struggling to find one. FINALLY the other day i was on the provo craft website (www.provocraft.com) check it out! and I saw that they were hiring for a customer service/sales support position at their corporate offices! I quickly applied and took my resume to them...to make a long story short, I got called in for an interview the next day and got the job!!! As I was being interviewed by the supervisor she stopped and said "you know, I would love to have you on my team, but I think there is another area you would be great in." So she refered me to another area and I ended up getting interviewed there too! SO i start monday and I will be trained in both areas...i have my own office and everything!!! wooo i finally have a good job! this is what ive been waiting for since.....forever!!!!!!
wish me luck!

It's Been a WHiLE
Sorry I'm an awful blogger but what can ya do! So I feel like I had a really great day today and I wanted to write about it...not only for your sakes, but I want to be able to look back on this day and feel happy.
So church here is a hard thing for me. I don't really know anyone in the ward and the roomate that I'm the closest too doesn't really go to church all that often. So its been a struggle. So today I decided to change my outlook a bit. I decided that I was going to go to church with the goal and excitement to meet new people...and thats EXACTLY what I did. There is this girl named Julia that spoke one of my first weeks there and I have wanted to be her friend ever since. So, today I walked right up to her tell her I loved her testimony and that I wanted to be her friend. From there I made friends with her friends Mary and Adam who are both awesome. Then I decided to stay and join the ward choir where I met a boy named Josh who invited me over to his house for scripture study. Then I came home from church where I met two (very cute) canadian boys in the parking lot, Ben and Jay. Then from there I went to ward prayer where I met SEVERAL people and was told I have beautiful eyes (HA they arent so squinty after all) Then I went from there to Josh's where I met Chase, Steven, Natalie, Sara, and Jessica. So whats that...11+ in one day!
It has AMAZED me what can happen when you wake up with the intent to accomplish something in the morning. I prayed that I would be brought into people's lives and that I would feel at home here and based on today, its looking pretty great!
I encourage you all to wake up tomorrow( or whenever you read this) and set a goal for yourself that day. Put yourself out there and don't let anything stop you. Keep a prayer in your heart and you will be amazed at what you accomplish!

I'm "Slackin"....
Says my mom! Sorry I have been slacking on the blog posts! I just recently got a job (i posted about it earlier) and I really don't have much time for anything now. I wake up and do homework, leave for work at 2, and don't get home until midnight. Its no fun. So there hasn't really been much to blog about.
Let's catch up on what there is...
My roomate, Chelsea, got/has swine flu. Its been fun sanitizing the house thats for sure. Its been hailing/raining here just about every night and doesn't reach any temperature above 50. I got a promotion-ish at work so things have been so crazy. With it getting closer to halloween, more people are calling in and more people are getting impatient and unhappy. It is nice though to work with a bunch of great people!!!
Thats all thats been going on in my neck of the woods...how about yours?

Taylor, Anthony, Lindsey, and I! Coolest lunch group on the PLANET!

Oh my...
This is what I wake up to in the morning...HaHa atleast they are growing out....right? Oh brother...thank goodness for whoever invented headbands and hairspray, you are officially my new bestest friends. So remember my little buddies Calvin and Klein? Well today I went into Aubrey's room, because that is where they live they are technically her fish. So anyways, I went in there because she forgot to feed them this morning and asked if I would. So I go in to feed them and see that they are swimming in a bowl of filth, and it smells SO bad. I don't understand how Aubrey can deal with it. So I asked if she had ever cleaned the bowl and she said she didnt know how. UGHH so when she got home I told her I would teach her how, little did I know it was just be me doing it and her not paying attention haha. So I have to give a GIGANTIC shout out to AUNTIE SUZ because she was the first one that ever taught me how to clean a fish tank. And between all of her fish and frogs and tadpoles and what not, I'm pretty much an expert. So I got the lovely opportunity to do the dirty work. We didn't have a fish net so I had to use a big spoon and hold on fish with the other hand in order to get them out. My roomates thought I was crazy but whatever...can't let the little fishies die!!!

ADS Beach Bash
So today I was missing the beach and home and dance quite a bit. Then I got on Facebook and saw that my dance teacher had uploaded some cute pictures of my last day at the beach which was the ADS Beach Bash! Thought I would share some of the pictures. I took Masyn and we had a great time. We found a bunch of cool little sea creatures in the sea weed it was really neat!!! So here are a few pictures!! Love ya!
